Project Title: The Justification of the Use of Public Reason in Jurisprudence regarding Gender Theory: A Comparative Study of the Political Theory Bases of J. Rawls and J. Ratzinger

The investigation will compare what political philosophy’s bases of are for J. Rawls and J. Ratzinger regarding public policies for persons with gender dysphoria, focusing especially on the John Rawls’s difference principle and Ratzinger’s concept of human ecology. It will seek to complement this comparison by referencing relevant current US Supreme Court jurisprudence, gender theories and Catholic psychology.
