Grayden McCashen

Biography

Grayden studies the history, especially the religious and intellectual history, of ancient Mediterranean world, with a special interest in Christianity during the Roman period. He graduated from Oxford with an M.Phil. in Theology (2018) and Emory University with a PhD in Religion (Historical Studies in Theology and Religion; 2024) before spending two years at the Maritain Center, the first as an affiliated visiting researcher with the History of Philosophy Forum, and the second as a staff member. He has also taught a range of humanities, philosophy, theology, and history classes at the undergraduate and seminary levels.
