The Ralph McInerny Distinguished Fellowship

The Ralph McInerny Distinguished Fellow is an eminent scholar who has made exceptional contributions in the areas of our research priorities. Recipients are selected by invitation only and are in residence at Notre Dame.

The current Ralph McInerny Distinguished Fellow is Fr. Kevin Flannery, SJ, Professor of the History of Ancient Philosophy at the Pontifical Gregorian University. Fr. Flannery maintains a five-year appointment, conducting research on Notre Dame's campus each spring from 2023 to 2027.

Michael Novak and Karen Laub-Novak Fellowship in Philosophy and Public Policy

The Michael Novak and Karen Laub-Novak Fellowship in Philosophy and Public Policy, awarded to Notre Dame graduate students who show evidence of a vocation to pursue Catholic intellectual life in regard to public policy questions, provides a stipend, professional experience and development, and research opportunities.
